• Varsity Football travels to McNary TODAY for their 7:00 game. GO SAXONS!

• REMINDER: ATHLETIC STUDY HALL TODAY at lunches in Rm 21. Also, after school STUDY HALL 2:30-4:00 in the library.

• Congratulations to this week’s Dave Johnson Athletes of the Week – they are Jack Gries for Football and a tie for girls this week with Liana Larkins- Soccer and Alison Brown-Volleyball.

• Cross Country athletes: please meet in the commons directly after school on Monday for a short meeting. Awards banquet is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 5th @ 6:30pm in the Little Theater.

• Saxon Water Polo teams split wins with Sprague last night at the Kroc Center. Girls fell 11-5; top scorers were Sabrina Kelley and Sara Rockow. Boys won 20-9, led by Russell Harder and Paul Lomas, who each scored five goals. Both girls and boys teams will move forward into conference playoffs next weekend in Corvallis.

• IF you are interested in a WINTER SPORT – boys basketball, girls basketball, wrestling or swimming, come to the Main office to pick up forms. Winter SPORTS season starts Nov. 17th!

• Interested in Bowling Club, meet Mondays @ 3:30 at Firebird Lanes. They need a few more interested students.

• SWIM team meeting Thursday, Oct. 30th during both lunches in the Little Theater. Anyone interested in being on the team, Coach Richey will give you all the information.

• SENIORS: many of you missed the post-secondary planning Senior meeting that was held last week in the Rose, and lost out on a lot of valuable information about choosing and applying to college. Since then Counselors have had numerous requests for a make-up meeting. We will do this for you on THURSDAY, Oct. 30th in the Library @ 2:30. Your transcripts will be available and the meeting will last a little over an hour. Please make sure you attend as counselors do not have time to present all the information to you on an individual basis.

• Halloween Candy Drive – Period 3 Candy Competition – only a couple more days to bring your candy so your class can win that pizza, cupcake or donut party!! South’s tradition continues – Halloween Trick or Treat for our youngsters, Oct. 31st from 5-6:30pm.
WE CAN’T DO IT WITHOUT YOU!!!! Won’t you please help!
